Patty Saliba
Meet Patty Saliba, MSSSA board president.
Patty lives in Hattiesburg, MS. She retired from AT&T as a Technical
Sales Consultant in 2008. While working at AT&T, she started teaching as an adjunct professor in the business department at Belhaven University.
As a NRA certified instructor, Patty’s passion is teaching firearm safety and handling to men, women and children. She is also a Department of Mississippi Public Safety approved MS Enhanced Carry instructor.
Patty was instrumental in forming the first Well Armed Chapter in MS, where she served several years as chapter leader, as well as State Leader for two years. She is currently the leader of the Pine Belt Shooting Club in
Hattiesburg, MS. She remains active in the firearm community, working as a Firearms Sales Consultant at Heritage Firearms and working at Brothers N Arms Gun Range in Hattiesburg. As an alliance member and board president, her mission is to get more Mississippians involved in the safe use of firearms for sports, hunting and recreation, especially our youth, who we hope will continue the fight to save our Second Amendment right.
Chad Winkler
Chad is graduate of the University of Texas San Antonio with a degree in Information Systems and Masters of Business Administration from Belhaven University.
Chad has over 40 years of experience in shooting sports including sporting clays, precision pistol and rifle and IDPA. Along with being a NRA & USCCA Training Counselor, Chad is also a Rangemaster Master Firearms Instructor with hundreds of hours of advanced firearms training. He is a certified Active Shooter, Red Cross and Emergency First Aid Fundamentals instructor.
Chad is the Training Coordinator for Boondocks Firearms Training Academy in Central Mississippi and has trained law enforcement, military members and thousands of civilian students. His goal is to help individuals and families gain the knowledge, skills, and attitude needed to safely handle a firearm, to teach techniques and tactics for self-defense, and to educate others on the joy of shooting sports.
